2009: Began offering Reiki sessions out of the private treatment rooms in the Sundara Yoga Therapy studio, located in Northwest Austin.
Clientele: Over the years, I have treated many clients seeking healing for problems such as fibromyalgia, cancer, carpal tunnel, and childhood abuse.
My Reiki Story:
I remember very clearly the first time I experienced the healing benefits of Reiki for myself. My mother had just been certified as a Reiki practitioner and I thought it was all a bit wacky. As fortune would have it, I cut my finger trying to slice a bagel. So she made me come sit down with my hand in her hands while she gave me Reiki. The pain and throbbing slowly decreased. I was feeling much better, but assumed that was normal. Pain always wears off as time passes, right? As soon as she got up to answer the phone, the pain came rushing back! I begged her "come back and do whatever it was that was making me feel better."
I would never feel comfortable charging for a service I didn't believe in 100 percent. I have experienced the healing power of Reiki and I invite you to do the same.
